Maximize Virtual Platform ROI
Virtual platforms are used for tasks such as embedded software development, software-driven verification, and performance analysis. Key to making this work is efficient model creation – the ROI strongly depends on early availability. An approach will be presented that resulted in delivering complex virtual platforms 9-12 months prior to silicon. Typical use models and a "PV-first" methodology resulting in a predictable development process will be shared along with data from real-world projects.
